Overview and types of fire water tanks
The fire water tank refers to the Blue Bo fire water storage tank, a fire-fighting facility that supplies water to the fire brigade during rescue activities. On the one hand, it fills the fire water supply pipeline with water, saving the time when the fire pump opens and fills the pipeline, and winning time for extinguishing and rescuing disasters. On the other hand, the pressure boosting and stabilizing system and water tank installed on the roof can ensure sufficient water column of the fire water gun, which has a decisive effect on extinguishing the initial fire.
Fire water tanks are divided into two categories based on their different uses: circulating fire water tanks and non circulating fire water tanks. The circulating fire water tank is usually connected to the urban water supply network, and the water in the tank is in a circulating state. When an earthquake occurs, it can automatically block the connection with the water supply network to ensure that the tank is always filled with clean water. It is primarily used to provide clean drinking water for citizens in the event of large-scale disasters such as earthquakes or the paralysis of urban water supply networks, in addition to supplying water sources for firefighting teams. Circulating fire water tanks are primarily installed in schools, parks, hospitals, and other places where citizens flee during earthquakes and disasters. The non circulating water tank is not connected to the tap water network, and the water inside cannot be consumed. Its primary effect is to provide a source of emergency water for the fire brigade when the fire hydrant cannot be used.
